Jazz flutist Amy Pardo is from Sapulpa, OK, where her father was her first teacher. She studied with the late Christine Nield-Capote at UM: "The impact she had on me has yet to cease resonating." She also studied with UM professors Gary Keller and Whit Sidener: "These guys put me in a musical scene that I love: improvisation." The quartet: Steve Pardo (alto sax), Rainer Davies (guitar), and Joe Rehmer (bass). |
